Just did a wedding with my new Canon 5D MKII. I shot the whole thing with ISO 3200 plus a on-camera 580EXII and I was blown away seeing at this high ISO. it looks like 800 ISO from my Canon 40D!

Why do they call it Trash The Dress?
Trash the dress, also known as fearless bridal or rock the frock, is a style of wedding photography that contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place. It is generally shot in the style of fashion and glamour photography. it’s a perfect way to capture some wonderful series of images of the bride and groom that normally can’t be made on the wedding day, almost as a declaration that the wedding is done and the dress will not be used again. It is seen as an alternative to storing the dress away, never to be seen again.
Do you do Trash The Dress?
Of course if you like those types of photos, we will be happy to take them for you.

I love the composition of this image, Serena, dressed in that beautiful little white shirt. The big eyes and her very soft complexion which made this image the little girl’s dad loved.

I’m a big fan of Infrared! I shot more than 100 rolls a year in the old film days. I loved the dreamlike of the foliage, the dark skies and penetration of atmospheric haze. You have to use a lens with the infrared index mark to get the picture in focus.

I don’t know that these tree are called but I love what they do with light. It was simply one of those great days when a number of sweet subjects graced the viewfinder.
