Pro: Reliable, Strong Construction, Powerful, Long Lasting
Con: Bulky, Heavy, Connector Plug, Pricey
I’ve had the 2×2 for a while now. I’ve used it with the Quantum T5d-R and Canon 580EX for wedding and location portrait. I love the power of it. It can provide around 5-600 pops for my Quantum T5d-r in half power. I also carry my Quantum Turbo as my second battery to cover a full day wedding. The recycle is very fast, On the average about 1 second to 1 1/2 for the full power.
Rapid Fire Test
| Full Power- you can get around 3-4 pops for full power | Half Power – you can get around 7-8 pops for half power |
Here is the size comparison between Quantum Turbo, Quantum Turbo 2×2 and Quantum Turbo SC

The major downside is the design of the connector plug. There isn’t any locking system that keeps the cable attached to the 2×2. The cord come out easily during shooting.
