Have you cover wedding in candle-lit reception?
Yes,  our cameras can capture in very low light. If it is too dark, we will use our own off-camera flash light.

Do you offer engagement photo sessions?
Yes.  Our full day wedding package does include engagement sessions.  Your images will be available in an on-line gallery from which you may either order prints or download the original high-resolution images.

How many pictures will you take of our wedding?
We commonly take between 800 – 3,000 images from a 8 hrs wedding.

How many pictures  are delivered?
For 8 hour wedding we deliver between 700-1000 photos. It is average 90 photos per hour.  For a 1.5 hour engagement shoot we typically deliver 60-80 photos.

How soon are the proofs ready for viewing?
After you wedding within 14 days , I will put up a slideshow with around 80 photos on my blog so you can share it with your family and friend. You can have the photos if you want to print your Thank You Card.  The rest of them will be ready in 10 weeks.

What kind of file format and resolution will I received?
Your wedding photos will be in JPG, in full resolution. They are good for print, facebook and email.

Do you touch up all the photos?
All the photos are adjusted with correct exposure, white balance and contract. We don’t offer any photo retouching, things like you want to take out the videographer who stand between the bride and groom during first kiss, or key out your cousin’s boyfriend from the family group photo, or you have a bad hair day and want me to fix it for you on 800+ photos.

Can you photoshop my body or my face
Short answer: No, I don’t. I go for a more natural look as opposed to the heavy-handed ‘plastic face’ look. Even more so than color correction, Photoshop retouch work is complicated and time consuming. Its best to shoot something correctly in-camera than worry about in Post.

Are you insured?
Yes, we are using Hill & Usher. It will satisfy the requirements of any banquet hall with which you may be working. It’s too simple to not take proper precautions for safety and assurance.

How long have you been a photographer? 
Eighteen years

How long have you been doing wedding photography?
2018 is our ninth year in wedding photography business.

How many photographers for each wedding?
You’ll get Tim for every wedding and a second shooter. Eugene or Alex will be the second shooter.

Do we have to provide meals for you guys during the wedding?
Yes please! It’ll keep us going strong in getting those amazing images for you guys!  Most people don’t want their pictures taken anyway with their mouths full so we usually eat while the bride and groom and the guests are eating.

Are there any hidden costs?
The prices quoted are fully inclusive. There are no hidden extra’s.

{Packages and Payment}

Can you tell us about your price and package?
Here is the detail of our packages.

How is the payment term?
We required a $1,500 retainer fee to lock the date. The rest of the balance can be paid off two weeks before the wedding. We will lock the date and the price after we both sign the contract and receive the first payment from you.

Can I customize my package?
You will be able to build a package that is uniquely perfect for you and your budget while  enjoying the freedom to make changes.

Do you quote special prices if I only need you for two or three hours?
Yes.  There are a number of variables that I will need to consider when preparing a custom quote so please contact me with the details.

How far in advance should I Book?
It’s never too early to solidify your plans. Most brides tend to book between 8-12 months in advance. You will want to reserve your date as early as possible to guarantee our availability.

Do you charge for travel?
Our location is located in Brooklyn, NY  (11214). Travel within an 90 mins radius is included in my price.  We often shoot weddings far beyond this radius.  If you are planning a wedding that is more distant, please contact me so we may discuss the details.


What kind of camera do you have?
We are using Canon cameras and lenses. I like the full frame and the high ISO performance.

What is your favorite lens?
Canon 50mm 1.2L, Canon 85mm 1.2L, Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS II, Zeiss 21mm 2.8

What is your favorite photography accessory, other than your camera?
My new Canon 600EX-RT, Pocket Wizards, Elinchrom Ranger RX AS Unit.

Do you have any backup equipment?
Yes,  We bring backup equipment including camera, lenses, flash, battery and etc to each wedding.

{Album FAQ}

What is a “flush mount” album?
A flush mount album is one in which the print or photo is mounted “flush” with the edge of the page

Can we remove the photos later?
No.  All albums are permanently bound and prints are permanently mounted at the time of binding.

What do we need to do to order our wedding album?
Send me a list of your favorite images from your wedding, along with your preference on size and style, and I will create a preliminary layout.  You will receive a mockup of your album via email within 2 weeks, and you can suggest any changes to the images or the arrangement at that time.  When the layout meets with your approval it will be printed and bound, and you will receive your finished book in 2 months.

Will your Wedding Book albums last generations?
Our album supplier offers a life-time guarantee on their products.

How many photos should we choose?
The average album contains 50-150 photos.

How many photos can fit on one page?
from 1 – 20. It will depend the size of the photo you want to display

We can’t choose!  Can you help?
Of course,  I would be more than happy to create an album design from my favorites.  You can then suggest changes and replace images before we go to print.  Let me know what style and size of album you prefer.

If we choose to upgrade, when is the balance due?
The balance is due at the time that the design is approved and we begin the printing/binding process.
